Tecta America Supports Disaster Relief Efforts After Ike

Nation's Largest Roofing Contractor Responds Quickly to Service Customers in the Texas Hurricane Zone

 

Skokie, IL (September 15, 2008) – In the aftermath of Hurricane Ike, Tecta America has moved equipment, resources, material, and personnel into the Texas hurricane zone to lead relief efforts.  With a nationwide network of over 50 locations and more than 3,500 roofing professionals, Tecta has pulled personnel from all regions of the country to help restore operations in Texas.  Fleets of service and production crews along with estimators have teamed up with local disaster response companies in order to service customers as quickly as possible.

 

Tecta’s disaster response teams began moving all resources before Ike hit in order to service all national account customers along with TectaResponse priority customers. 

 

With one of the most comprehensive disaster response plans in the roofing industry, Tecta America provides all TectaResponse priority customers (which include national account customers) with repair crews and service personnel on site within 72 hours after a disaster occurs to assess the roof conditions and begin repairs.

 

As a GSA contractor, Tecta America is able to service all state and local government facilities within the declared national disaster area.
