Tecta America Names Richard Sabol VP of TectaService

Nation's Largest Roofing Company Focuses on Service Growth

Skokie, IL—August 2007—Tecta America, the nation’s largest roofing company, has named Richard (Rick) Sabol as Vice President of TectaService. Previously, Sabol was Tecta’s General Manager of Service. In his new position, Sabol will be responsible for managing the service capabilities improvement needed to deliver service consistency over 50+ business locations and will also focus his efforts on assimilation of acquisition locations as Tecta continues its growth pattern.

“Rick’s promotion recognizes the contributions that he has made to Tecta in a relatively short time period, as well as the increased importance we are putting on building our service businesses across the country,” said Mark Santacrose, President and CEO of Tecta America. “At both a national level through our Service Center and in our local markets, building owners and managers are increasingly aware of the importance of proper service to ensure optimal roof system performance and maximize the financial return of their roofing investment. By building standard best practices across the country, TectaService is well-positioned to help their customers realize this value.”

With more than 30 years in service management, Sabol started with Tecta America in October 2006. Sabol has a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from Ohio University in Athens, OH, and an MBA from the ServiceMaster Executive Graduate Program in Downers Grove, IL.

TectaService is Tecta America’s comprehensive roof service program for customers who require roof asset management beyond initial roofing installation. The TectaService program also incorporates TectaCare, a comprehensive preventive maintenance program that is able to utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) already in place at many well-managed facilities for building mechanicals, life safety and other valuable building assets, and TectaTracker, a proprietary web-based roof asset management program for portfolio owners/managers who require documentation on a continuous basis, for forecasting their roofing maintenance needs.
