Nation's Largest Roofing Company Announces Promotion
Skokie, IL—August 2007—Tecta America Corp. has named David Schupmann Vice President of National Sales. In his new position, Schupmann’s focus will be on national account development with an emphasis on roof asset management programs. He will be adding account managers to his team over the coming months.
“Dave’s promotion reflects the emphasis we are putting on national account programs,” said Mark Santacrose, President and CEO of Tecta America. “As building ownership and management gets more consolidated and sophisticated, there is a strong market opportunity for a full-service national contractor with Tecta's expertise. Dave’s outstanding roofing experience positions him well to develop those programs for our customers.”
Schupmann’s career in the roofing industry spans 13 years, all of which have been at Tecta America, as a Sales Assistant, Salesman/Estimator, New Account Development Manager, Service Manager, and most recently as National Sales Manager. Schupmann has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Aurora University in Aurora, IL. He is a member of the Building Owners and Management Association (BOMA) and the Professional Retail Store Maintenance Association (PRSM).
Schupmann says that he’s proud of the growth the company has experienced in becoming the nation’s largest roofing contractor. “Tecta’s success is a true testament to our founders, the business model they created, and the leadership that they put in place.”
